Clearly, you would never want them to be sick, uncomfortable, or in pain, and you do your best to keep them healthy. One of the best things you can do for your cat’s health is bring them into our hospital where we offer cat wellness exams so that we can identify and treat any health issues early, as well as offer you professional advice to maintain your cat’s health.
Our cat wellness exams begin by weighing your cat and noting any differences since the last time they were checked. If they are much lighter or heavier, we will ask about their diet and make recommendations if necessary. Then we will ask about your cat’s recent behavior, taking note of their mood, energy levels, appetite, and other considerations that may be related to their health. We will also check your cat’s eyes, ears, skin, heart, for any problems and discuss medication if we find something that needs treatment. If you have any concerns you would like us to address, we would be happy to do that as well.
