For example, we offer annual dog exams that are designed to monitor your pet’s overall health and check for a variety of health problems—the earlier we can identify health issues, the more we can do to address them and keep your dog healthy. We encourage you to bring your dog in for one of our annual dog exams to ensure they remain in robust health.

Annual Dog Exams in Burlington, North Carolina

The first step in our annual dog exams is to discuss your pet’s weight. We will weigh your pet to track any changes, then discuss your dog’s diet to determine if you need to adjust it in any way. Then, we will move on to discussing other changes in your pet’s health, such as alterations in their energy levels, mood, or elimination. After that, we will check your dog’s eyes, ears, skin, and heart for signs of parasites, infections, or other conditions, and we will discuss your parasite prevention regimen as well. If we find any causes for concern, we will arrange for further tests to determine exactly what’s wrong and what to do about it. In addition, we are happy to discuss any concerns you may have, and we will keep track of any medications your dog is on and how they are responding to the treatment.

We are proud to serve the community here in Burlington, North Carolina, and we want to help you take good care of your dog. If you want to help keep your dog as healthy as possible, we encourage you to give us a call to schedule an annual dog exam with our experienced veterinarians.
