Our annual cat exams are an important step in monitoring your cat’s health.
Here at Plaza Veterinary Hospital, our team understands how much your cat matters to you. Because your cat is an important member of your family, you naturally want to do what is best for them and protect them from illness, pain, and discomfort. We want to do our part to keep them healthy and inform you on how you can do the same. One of the most important ways you can keep your cat healthy is by taking them to our hospital for an annual checkup. Annual cat exams allow us to catch any health issues your cat has and treat them before the problem worsens. Don’t just wait until you notice symptoms when we have skills and tools that can identify problems early.
The first thing we will do in annual cat exams is weigh your cat, make note of any changes since their last exam, and then discuss their diet with you so they will be able to maintain a healthy weight. We will also discuss your pet’s overall health and ask if you have noticed anything different or strange about their mood, energy levels, appetite, and other behaviors that may be affected by their health. Afterwards, we will check your cat’s eyes, ears, skin, heart, and other necessary areas to make sure they are in good condition or identify any issues that need to be resolved. We would also be happy to discuss any concerns you have about your cat.
We are proud to serve the Burlington, North Carolina community, and we encourage you to schedule one of our annual cat exams to help us keep your cat in good health. Please give us a call to schedule an appointment.
